Christmas Apple Pie With Pizzazz


4 Cups Pared, Sliced Apples
2 Cups Ocean Spray® Fresh Or Frozen Cranberries
3/4 Cup Packed Brown Sugar
1/2 Cup Granulated Sugar
1/3 Cup All-Purpose Flour
1 Teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
3/4 Cup Chopped Walnuts, Optional
Pastry For A 9-Inch Two Crust Pie


Preheat Oven To 425º F
Combine All Ingredients, Except Pastry, In A Medium Mixing Bowl
Mix Well
Pour Into A Pastry-Lined Pie Plate
Cover With Top Crust
Seal Edges And Cut Several Slits In Top Crust
Bake 50 Minutes Or Until Golden Brown
Cover Edges With Foil If They Begin To Brown Too Quickly
Makes One 9-Inch Pie

Christmas Deep Dish Cherry Peach Pie


1 1/4 Cup All-Purpose Flour
1 1/4 Cup Quaker Oats Quick Or Old-Fashioned
1/2 Cup Sugar
1/2 Tsp. Baking Powder
3/4 Cup (1 1/2 Sticks) Butter
2 Tbsp. Cold Water
1 20 Oz. Can Lite Cherry Pie Filling
16 Oz. Can Sliced Peaches In Juice, Drained


Heat Oven To 425 Degrees
Combine Flour, 1 Cup Oats, Sugar And Baking Powder
Cut In 1/2 Cup Butter Until Crumbly
Remove 1 Cup Mixture And Combine With 1/4 Cup Oats
Cut In 1/4 Cup Butter Until Crumbly; Set Aside
Mix Water And Remaining Oat Mixture With Fork Just Until Moistened
Press Onto Bottom And 1 1/2 Inches Up Sides Of 9 Inch Springform Pan
Bake 15 Minutes
Cool Slightly

Combine Pie Filling And Peaches And Spread Into Crust
Top With Reserved Crumb Mixture
Bake 30-35 Minutes Or Until Golden Brown
Or Bake At 400 Degrees In 9 Inch Deep Dish Plate

3 Eggs
1 Cup Sugar
1 Cup Light Corn Syrup
1 Teaspoon Vanilla
1/4 Teaspoon Salt
2 Tablespoons Melted Butter Or Margarine
1 Cup Broken Pecan Meats
1 Unbaked 9 Inch Pastry Shell


Beat Eggs Slightly
Add Sugar And Beat Well
Add Syrup, Flavoring, Salt And Melted Butter Or Margarine
Spread Pecans Over Bottom Of Pastry Shell
Pour The Egg Mixture Over The Pastry Shells
Bake In Moderate Oven, 350 Degrees For 45 Mins Or Until Done

1 1/4 Cups Pumpkin Puree
3/4 Cup Sugar
1/2 Teaspoon Salt
1/2 Teaspoon Ground Ginger
1 Teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
1 Teaspoon All-Purpose Flour
2 Eggs, Lightly Beaten
1 Cup Evaporated Milk, Undiluted
2 Tablespoons Water
1/2 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract
9-Inch Pie Crust, Unbaked


In A Mixing Bowl
Combine Pumpkin, Sugar, Salt, Ginger, Cinnamon And Flour
Add Eggs And Mix Well
Add Evaporated Milk, Water And Vanilla And Mix Well
Pour Pumpkin Pie Mixture Into A 9-Inch Pastry Lined Pie Pan

Preheat Oven To 425°
Bake At 425° For 15 Minutes
Reduce Heat To 350°
Bake Pumpkin Pie For About 35 Minutes Longer, Until Pumpkin Pie Is Set
